I don’t know about you, but fall is my favorite time of year. I love the crisp, cool weather, the change of seasons, and the start of the Giants season each year (regardless of how painful they are to watch).
Another great thing about Fall is the food. I love the flavors — sweet and savory. It’s the start of bulking season, where we (AKA I) transition into eating more comfort foods that are good for the gut and more importantly good for the soul.
I’m talking soups, stews, roasts, basically anything and everything hearty that can cook overnight in my crockpot on low.
Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dessert, snack time, dinner or a hot beverage, you can’t go wrong with some of these fall favorites. Take a gander at some of my own personal favorite recipes. Many of these I’ve crafted myself, stolen from my mother, or simply gleaned from other fellow celiac bloggers.
